About Maddie
I am a friendly and approachable tutor, able to explain concepts in a straight forward manner. I have a first class Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree from King’s College London in addition to a first class Masters from KCL’s world-renowned War Studies department.
At A-Level, I studied English Literature, Psychology, and Philosophy & Ethics, as well as AS Maths.
I have lots of experience working with children, from teaching sailing and dancing, to years of baby sitting experience. I have also helped university students with their studies and course applications.
My method of tutoring is to approach the basics and establish why and where students need help. From here, I approach the task in an interesting and straightforward manner, making sure the students feels comfortable with every step before moving on.
