About Rohan
I am an engineer by training and am passionate about helping others delve more deeply into the wonderful order of the universe through mathematics and physics. I find it remarkable that with a structured and logical approach, anyone can steadily gain a deeper understanding of the world around us. This desire to assist others in this journey is why I want to tutor.
Having graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer from Imperial College London, I have a robust grounding in physics and maths. I have then applied this knowledge while working in the financial sector.
I have extensive experience in teaching and working with children of various ages. My journey into tutoring began during my school years. Subsequently, I took a gap year to work at a children's camp centre. During my time at university, I held various teaching and tutoring positions, both within the university and at my church.
When I'm not engaged in academic pursuits, I enjoy cooking with my wife, cycling, and extolling the virtues of a good shawarma (if you know, you know).

While each lesson is tailored around the individual student's need, the general approach is to introduce a new concept (or two), demonstrate its real world significance, walk through a number of examples and then give the student an opportunity to give it a go themselves in this guided environment. Any questions stemming from the pupil's curiosity will be encouraged and explored further.
