My approach depends on the level where you are at. this way, my first thins is to test you and ask you about your goals, so I can come up with a specific plan that fits your objectives.
-I usually start with grammar: verb tenses,
-Then vocabulary, depending on the level or the filed you would like to focus on (for example if you are learning Spanish for a specific job, or to go on a trip)
-We then go to spelling (writing words)/reading and speaking: this is done with phrases depending on the goals (interactive conversations)
-We then go a little deeper into reading and writing
-I go out of my way to allow the student to practice Spanish
-ALSO: I can help you with HOMEWORK, TRAIN you for a test, INTERVIEWS, or TRIPS, any request in specific
