About George
I am an engineering educator with more than 18 years of experience teaching electrical and mechanical engineering students. My services include academic advising, course coordination, one-on-one mentoring, coaching, etc. In addition, I have conducted some interesting research on the benefits of improving the student assessment frequency on long-term retention and learning.

With a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Uni of Adelaide) and a MS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (Ohio State Uni), I adopt a teaching philosophy that I call the 4CE philosophy (pronounced "foresee"). It consists of several tenets including Critical thinking, Continuity, Coaching, Complementariness, and Ethics. I teach young students starting from year 6 upwards. "Practice makes perfect" is one of my recipes for success. Typical lesson length: 1 hour.
