About Rashmeera
I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with 1 year of experience providing home tuition for primary school students. My engineering background has helped me develop a structured, analytical, and patient approach to teaching. I believe in creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I am committed to preparing quality learning materials, monitoring student progress, and maintaining regular communication with parents to support each student's academic development. My lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, exam preparation and answering techniques for Year 4-6 students sitting for the SK/SJK UASA English and Science examination. I have 1 year experience in home tutoring.
Lessons begin with a diagnostic assessment to identify each student's current proficiency level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Students will be introduced to the UASA exam paper format and taught effective tips, techniques, and answering strategies for each section of the examination.
A typical lesson consists of approximately 30 minutes of grammar, 30 minutes of writing, 20 minutes of reading comprehension, and 10 minutes for revision, recap, or homework discussion. (total 1.5 hours). As for Science, it will be topical lessons followed by practices. Answering techniques will be taught during the practice sessions. This lesson structure may be adjusted according to the student's learning level, progress, and individual needs. Quiz and homework will be given from time to time basis. A variety of worksheets and practice materials will be provided to reinforce learning and improve exam readiness. Monthly progress updates will also be shared with parents to keep them informed of their child's development and achievements.
