About Abishag
Hello! I’m Abishag, an engineering graduate (B.Tech in Biotechnology) and a passionate tutor specializing in Math and Science for JK–Grade 6 students. With several years of professional experience in banking and IT, I bring a strong foundation in science and logical thinking to every lesson.
I have hands-on experience teaching my own 6-year-old, tutoring neighboring children, and working with underprivileged kids through local organizations, so I understand how to make learning fun, engaging, and easy to grasp for young learners from diverse backgrounds. I focus on building confidence, understanding concepts, and improving problem-solving skills, all while keeping lessons interactive and tailored to your child’s pace.
I offer both online and in-person lessons in the Ajax/Toronto area. First trial lesson (30 minutes) is offered at a discounted rate so you can see if we’re a good fit.
