About Rowan
I am a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering at Purdue University, and have taken math coursework in Calculus 1 through 3, linear algebra, partial and ordinary differential equations, and fourier and laplace transforms. I also have extensive experience in MATLab, and have conducted research in aerospace engineering.
My previous students in my classes at Purdue University have described my teaching style as "Making difficult concepts easy to understand", "Very patient and thorough", and my personal favorite, "Perfect, in the GOAT conversation for sure".

I specialize in Calculus 1, (stretching from a review of precalculus concepts such as logarithms and exponentials to integration), and have taught this material for two semesters at Purdue University, a top STEM school. I can both assist with any questions a student may have with their current class, or create a personalized study plan with custom questions and work through the material in that manner.
I always ask to see students work through a problem on their own first and explain their thinking behind each step, so that I can identify if there are any misunderstandings with the material so that these can be corrected. Teaching this material many times before has allowed me to identify many types of potential mistakes, leading to more effective instruction.
I have experience teaching many levels, from middle school to undergraduates in STEM, and have lessons developed for college freshmen and high school seniors specifically.
