About Hashmath
Hello! I have a master's in Engineering and Politics and I am passionate about catering my teaching methods to the specific need of my students. I strive to be fun and engaging in the process.
I graduated from the University of Bristol with a Masters in Civil Engineering and a lot of that had to do with my sixth-grade math teacher. She first introduced me to the concept that maths is a language more than anything else. Those who find this subject particularly difficult are not because maths 'isn't their thing' or because it is particularly intrinsically challenging. It is because they haven’t grasped the basics. I am dedicated to demystifying maths and making it more enjoyable.
I do this by getting a grasp of the level the student is at through worksheets by topic and working with them from the basics up. I also try to ensure that students are equipped with techniques that allow them to study independently to ensure self-reliance throughout their education.
