About ADITH
I'm an engineer with a B.E. in AI & Data Science, and I learned OCaml the way most people don't — unstructured and self-taught at first, then deepened through NPTEL's Functional Programming in OCaml course, taught by Tarides' CTO. Since then, I've had two pull requests merged into the official OCaml standard library, and I'm currently building a verified trading engine in OCaml as a personal project. I want to teach because I remember exactly where OCaml stopped making sense to me, and I think that makes me better at explaining it than someone who never struggled with it.

My teaching starts with questions, not definitions I ask where your intuition already is before introducing formal syntax, so concepts like pattern matching, recursion, and immutability build on what you already understand rather than feeling foreign. A typical class walks through one core idea with live coding in utop, followed by practice problems and, if you're taking a course, your actual homework. My classes suit true beginners with zero functional programming background, college students working through an OCaml-based curriculum, and self-learners preparing for technical interviews.
