About Matthew
Hi there! My name’s Matt and I am 24 years old. I’m a young, enthusiastic tutor that teaches Maths and Physics to GCSE and A-Level students.
I have recently graduated from the University of Bath with a First-Class Masters’ Degree in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. I therefore understand the importance of Maths and Physics and their fundamental applications in our day-to-day lives. It is my mission to pass on this fascination to my students by teaching these exciting subjects in an engaging way that is easy to digest.

With years of Maths, Physics and Engineering exams under my belt, I am excited to pass on my exam techniques, approaches to studying and efficient problem-solving methods so that my students can enter an exam hall with confidence and pass with flying colours!
The length of one of my lessons is usually an hour and I will typically explain some subject theory, apply that to a problem which we will work through together and go through some exam questions to explain how I would approach them.

At university, I struggled to understand a complex mathematical concept involving fluid mechanics, which Matt offered to give me a lesson on. He was able to break the concept down into its fundamental parts and mathematical theories and build up my understanding by piecing them all together one by one. Very quickly I could make sense of the topic and was able to apply it correctly by the end of the lesson.
