About Andrea
I have my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and I've gotten to be a part of extraordinary projects as a professional engineer. I have always loved math and science from a young age. At a young age, I enjoyed math and science, I was only in the 5th grade when I set my mind to be a Civil Engineer. In high school I was introduced to physics and I was fascinated by it. I got to complete the second part of Calculus before even starting college.

My teaching methods are tailored to the individual. However, I've found the best way I find people learn are from their mistakes, therefore asking questions along the way is key. If the correct answer is up and the student answers down, my focus is their understanding as to why it the answer is correct of why the answer is incorrect. The ins and outs of the concept is where the importance lies, not on what the correct answer is. When the concept is digested, the student can then apply it to any variable or context.

If the student is younger than middle school or high school the price per hour will be less than the baseline price. Additionally, there will be a cancellation fee of $10 if not notified of cancellation 12 hours prior the appointment time.
