About Vijayalaxmi

Mechanical Engineer with distinct knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and extensive understanding of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) using AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor. Experienced in CAD Modelling, prototyping, simulating, and testing in a high-stakes environment. Committed to provide top-notch and accurate work with excellent eye for detail. I have more than 13 yrs of Experience with multinational & Australian mining service organisations working with their "Design and Development" division.

About the lesson

I am a Mechanical Engineer with 16 yrs. of experience in CAD modelling using AutoCAD, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor etc. These lessons are for Beginner, Intermediate and advanced level AutoCAD/Inventor users. Typical length of lesson will be 1 hr. /2-3 lessons per week. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to do the following: 1. create both two- and three-dimensional designs/drawings using CAD software 2. Cite and identify technical drafting practices, procedures, and processes according to current ANSI/ISO standards 3. Demonstrate the use of traditional drafting instruments, media and equipment used in industry 4. Sketch and model multiview drawings 5. explain the need, relevancy and application of CAD to the various engineering disciplines
