About Sharon
As an incoming Engineering student at Dartmouth College, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in math. I previously worked as a math instructor at Mathnasium, where I taught students from elementary through high school in Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Precalculus.
I believe every student is capable of mastering challenging concepts with the right guidance. My teaching approach begins with a diagnostic evaluation to identify each student's strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps while encouraging students to think critically and develop strong problem-solving skills. I strive to create a supportive, patient, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through homework, or looking to strengthen your understanding of math, I am committed to helping you achieve your academic goals and gain the confidence to tackle challenging problems independently.

I have work experience tutoring math to students from elementary to high school in individual and small group settings. I am proficient in advanced high school subjects, receiving 5s on AP exams including Calculus BC, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and English Literature. I have also scored in the 99th percentile in SAT Math and English. I offer sessions online, so book a session and receive instruction in the comfort of your own home.
