About Javier
Hi, I’m Javier! I’m a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London, originally from Indonesia. Outside my studies, I’m an engineer on Imperial Formula Student, where we design and build a race car, so I get to see maths and physics come to life every day.
I want to teach because I know how much a good teacher can make a difference. Throughout school and university, the people who took the time to explain things clearly helped me most, and I’d love to do the same for you. There’s nothing better than seeing a difficult topic finally click. Whether you’re struggling or aiming for the top, I’m here to help you get there.

Understand, not memorise!
In 1 hour, we will first go through the concept and then do some problems together, building up to exam-style questions. For exam prep, we will use past papers and have a look through the mark scheme so we know exactly where we can gain marks. Longer sessions are available for exam prep. By the end, my goal is for you to truly understand the topic, not just memorise it.
I achieved 4A* in A-Levels (Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry) with a 'Best Across 3 A-Levels' award. Currently, I’m a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London. I made the Dean’s List and have won departmental prizes for my academic performance. I use Maths and Physics every day, so you can say they're my bread and butter!
I welcome students who look to catch up, boost their grade, or aim for top marks in: GCSE Maths and Physics, and A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics.
