About Mayoori
I am currently studying a bachelors in Biomedical Engineering at RMIT. I graduated from High School in 2016 with an ATAR of 96.15 and a raw study score of 41 for Maths Methods. I have been tutoring students from year 6 to year 10 since 2017. Many of these students have shown an overall improvement, and have had their grades go up by the end of year.

Every student learns differently. So, during the first lesson I try to get a better understanding of which method works best. But usually the lesson will be based on what they are learning at school, and I try to help them get a better understanding of the topic. By doing so, I can build on this knowledge and allow them to go ahead of the schoolwork so that they will find it easier at school. I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to focus my attention on the student, and helping that student to achieve his or her goal. I enjoy building a student's confidence, and sharing the joy that comes with improvement.
