About Luis
I am currently a graduate student in California State Polytechnic University doing my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. I have been tutoring math for 5 years at California State University Los Angeles for students enrolled in College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Differential Equations. This type of work is something I enjoy and do everything I can to ensure the student is understanding the material.

The way how I have experienced to be the best teaching approach is 1-on-1 tutoring to see what the student's strengths and weaknesses are. To help improve with student weakness, I often see the type of problems they get for homework and make my own worksheet for them revolving around the type of material they have trouble on to practice more. Throughout this process, I have seen students improve with the topics they found difficult at first and overall improve in the subject they are doing.

Details
The rates for my tutoring session are $15 / hour through webcam and $20/hour for in person tutoring. Preferably, when cancelling a session please cancel 24 hours ahead of time to avoid cancellation fees.
