I help students understand math by breaking it down into simple, easy-to-follow steps. I first find out what the student knows and what they are struggling with and then work from there. I explain the tricky parts in easy-to-understand ways by using real-world examples. During the lesson, I go at the student's pace and help them with any questions they have, making sure they feel confident in the subject before moving on. During a lesson, we will start with a review of prior topics, and then once they have a solid foundation, we will begin the lesson. After the lesson, we will spend around 20 minutes working problems and helping the student with any questions they have, and then a 5 to 10-minute recap of that lesson. Lessons are for high schoolers and entry college students taking College Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Geometry.
