About Raquel
I am a biomedical engineering student, which is a very multidisciplinary subject where maths are applied in every topic and in many different ways.
When I was in high school, I always wished I had someone that could help me whenever i had problems with maths and could dedicate their time specifically to me. This is why I tutor, because I want to give that kind of help to other students.

In my lessons I will make sure to identify the areas the students are weakest and the least confident in so that we can work on improving their skills. I use combinations of different resources so students can learn in a more visual and practical way, while making sure all the necessary material is covered. I also like to go over a lot of exam questions so that they are prepared and know the methodology they should apply.
For me, it is important that students gain confidence and enjoy the lessons as well.
