About Jena
I’m a friendly, professional and approachable tutor with a strong passion for maths and learning. I’m naturally chatty and like to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I want to teach because I love learning new things and find it rewarding to share my knowledge with others, especially when I can help someone understand a topic they once found difficult. My goal is to make learning feel less intimidating while helping students build confidence and achieve their potential.

I have two years of experience tutoring secondary school Mathematics and adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs. I use positive reinforcement and rewards to keep students motivated, while breaking difficult topics into simple, manageable steps.
I achieved A* grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Technology & Design at A-Level, as well as an A in Physics.
Lessons are flexible, but I recommend 1–2 hours. I teach primary, secondary, GCSE, and A-Level Mathematics, focusing on building confidence, improving understanding, and developing strong exam technique.
