About Trestan
Hello! My name is Trestan Elsea (she/her), and I'm a civil engineering student at Ryerson/X university. I have participated in a lot of student groups within my time at university, including orientation leader and president of a few student societies, so I'm happy to answer questions about general student life on top of your academic questions. Equity is something that is super important to me, so much that I earned an award for it once. I hope to make my tutoring sessions a safe space, so please feel free to ask questions. No question is a bad question!

A solid foundational understanding of math and sciences is really important when going into engineering/STEM. I'm happy to teach whatever methods your teacher is teaching right now, along with any other methods I know of (as tools for better understanding if need be). What matters is you understand and retain the information, so your university professors/upper level teachers can build on it later, without too much review. I'm a patient person that actually likes working with younger people (I'm the oldest sibling to 3 younger siblings, as well as an orientation lead at my university) so I would genuinely like to help.
Also, LGBTQ+ friendly, if that's a concern for anyone! My sessions are safe spaces. No question is a bad question!
