About Leanne

Growing up, I spent a lot of time in my mother's classroom (she's been an elementary school teacher for as long as I can remember). I would help students with their assignments, grade homework, and write lesson plans. There is no better feeling than helping a student understand a concept they struggle with, the confidence they gain goes a long way and shapes who they are as a person. A tutor has the ability to make a profound impact on a student's life and I aim to do just that. Even now I live on campus and get calls from my brother to help with SAT math, and I gladly take time out of my day to help out if it means a greater chance of excelling in higher education.

About the lesson

Students will receive personalized tutoring with curated lessons tailored towards their strengths/weaknesses. I will create problem sets for students to complete in order to assess their progress and test their knowledge on the subject. When we meet, we will complete a lesson together to ensure full understanding. I will also be available for any questions outside of our sessions.
