About Maxim
I have been a tutor in a variety of subjects since the start of high school through a peer tutoring club and as an assistant teacher in after-school math programs. I have worked with students from ages from 5 all the way to 16.

Lessons with me start with a “get to know me” to establish a connection and understand what exactly the student desires to learn. I work alongside the curriculum at school to clarify or enrich the student’s understanding of the lessons.
A lesson for a student looking for clarification starts with the student explaining what they learned in the subject over the past week. Wherever their explanation is weaker, we work through whatever concept is confusing.
For a student looking for enrichment, I will prepare a lesson including both conceptual explanation and practice problems in a topic that either the student is interested in, or comes up later in the school year.
I am able to instruct in math, physics, chemistry, English and French up to Grade 12.
