About Faisal
While in high school, I was part of the demonstrators in the labs for the junior students. I was in charge of setting up the apparatus prior to the lab and was always there to answer to any questions the students had on the lab. I enjoyed this role as I found out that I really enjoy guiding people and putting them on the right track. I am currently an Engineering student at Newcastle University. I completed a certificate programme in Engineering at Brighton University with a distinction before moving to Newcastle university to commence my bachelors degree. I am currently in my second year.

First thing I like to do is ask a student what his areas of weaknesses. I try to go over those areas to make sure I brush up and ready prior to our meeting. I try to explain to the best of my ability and make sure to keep asking questions along the way to make sure the student is attentive as I have found that most students tend to always reply with a “yes” when asked if they understand. Therefore, I try to make my lessons an interactive in order to engage with the student.
