About Reed
I'm an engineering student with over two years of experience tutoring math from Kindergarten through Calculus III. I’ve worked with a wide range of students in both private and volunteer settings, and I focus on making challenging topics easier to understand. My lessons are shaped around the student’s individual needs, learning style, and goals. I typically start with a quick check-in to pinpoint any challenges, then work through examples together before giving students a chance to practice with guided support. Whether it’s reviewing class material, preparing for a test, or building confidence in fundamentals, I adapt each session accordingly. I don’t believe in forcing a single "correct" method—instead, I help students strengthen their own approach and offer alternatives when needed. Respect, patience, and encouragement are at the core of every lesson. No matter the level—whether you’re tackling algebra for the first time or diving into Calculus III—my goal is to help you learn in a way that truly works for you.
