About Paul
I have a passion for the English language and its many uses. I have utilized my writing and speaking skills both professionally, in education and creatively throughout my career.
With experience in community work, public speaking, facilitating workshops and performing in spoken word events in Melbourne/Naarm I love helping and seeing others achieve their goals, whether professional or creative. I also love the multicultural experiences Melbourne/Naarm provides. Not just English and poetry but food, arts and music too!

With a lifelong interest in lexicology and literature and career experience involving professional writing practices I have personally developed strong writing skills for a variety of purposes.
With several years of experience as a tutor and educator I confidently assess the needs of my students and then create or adapt lesson plans to their needs. I have an outcome-based approach and utilize various resources to achieve the desired outcome.
Individual lessons usually range from 1 - 2 hours or more for groups as needed. I have a BA Degree, Victoria Uni. A current international TESOL Certificate and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
My lessons are for any age or learning level and can be for academic, creative and practical purposes.
