About Manmi

I am an English graduate and Master of Teaching (Secondary) student in Victoria, offering structured and supportive tutoring for secondary students. My teaching is guided by the Victorian Curriculum and EAL framework, with a focus on building clear writing, language control, and analytical skills. With prior teaching experience in Sri Lanka, I bring a thoughtful and organized approach to lessons, helping students to understand expectations and improve their performance. I prioritize consistency, clear feedback, and a positive learning environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, and make steady academic progress.

About the lesson

My tutoring takes a student-centered approach, focusing on developing students’ core English skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and analytical thinking, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and EAL framework. As an English graduate currently undertaking a Master of Teaching (Secondary), with teaching experience in Sri Lanka, I use a structured and scaffolded approach to help students understand tasks, develop clear ideas, and produce well-organised responses. Lessons run for 60 minutes and include targeted practice with feedback. I teach Years 6–12, including EAL learners, supporting students to build confidence and achieve consistent academic improvement.
