About Ethan
My name is Ethan! I love teaching because there is so much beauty to be found in reading and writing. Learning is hard, and it's always better to do it with someone else. I enjoy helping students see what they are capable of, grow in confidence, and develop good ideas and clear thinking. My goal is to help reading and writing seem more engaging and achievable.

I focus on helping students understand what they're reading, formulate ideas, and clearly express their ideas in their work. This includes comprehension of challenging texts, forming and refining thesis statements, organizing essays, and improving clarity.
I take a patient, productive, fun and discussion based approach. I love to adapt depending on the students need, level, and learning style.
My scheduling is flexible, I can teach primary and secondary age, and I can travel within the sunny coast area for an extra fee!
