About Hannah

I'm Hannah, a Year 12 student at a Sydney girls' school with a passion for English and a goal of studying Law at university. I'm currently completing English Extension 2, the most advanced English course offered in the HSC, alongside English Advanced and Extension 1.

I've consistently performed at a high level across all three English courses and am currently developing an original short fiction major work for Extension 2. Last year I also attended a Law program at the University of Cambridge in the UK, which deepened my love of analytical thinking and precise written expression.

Outside of academics I have work experience at a Sydney law firm and growing up with a younger brother has given me a natural patience with kids and a genuine enjoyment of explaining things clearly.

I'm encouraging, reliable and really invested in helping younger students build confidence in English.

About the lesson

As a current Year 12 student studying English Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2, I offer a perspective grounded in personal understanding of what is expected of a current student. I've always been very interested in English and I want to pass that on through lessons focused on essay writing, close reading and unpacking texts in a way that resonates with the student and makes English both easier and more enjoyable.

Sessions are 45 minutes and completely tailored to you. Whether you're stuck on an assignment, preparing for an exam or just want to feel more confident in class, we work through it together at your pace.

My lessons are best suited to students up to Year 10 who want real, practical help from someone who has been exactly where they are, not that long ago.
