About Juliette
I’ve recently finished my GCSEs, meaning I understand the stress that you’re put under during this time all too well! I really struggled during the pandemic in terms of revising and what actually to revise and wished that there was a tutor to help me during this time - being the reason I became a tutor myself! It’s something I’m really passionate about as I know what a tricky time you’re currently going through, so to be able to help you build up your knowledge and confidence would mean such a great deal to me. I’m currently doing my A levels, with my subjects being sociology, psychology and english literature. After recently studying english at GCSE level, I understand how easy it is to feel lost and have no confidence in your knowledge of the subject - especially due to the pandemic! My aim is to help build up not only your knowledge but also your confidence, as feeling assured in your knowledge when you go into your exam is a key component to success. During our lessons, we would start off looking over the work you’ve done during your lessons, making sure you’re confident with everything you’ve gone through - answering any questions you have. After that, we would go through some relevant practice exercises; so by that I mean practicing analysing texts or poems, researching more into important scenes or parts of the texts you’re studying and going through practice essays - teaching you high level and A level techniques to really make sure you get the highest level possible in your exam. As I’ve been through the struggles of GCSEs recently myself I really understand the stress and struggle that you’re put under, so I feel so passionate about helping you succeed and acquire the grades you really deserve!
