About Livia

My passion for English and its expressive power led me to pursue a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. Over 9 years, I have guided students of all ages and levels, helping them achieve fluency, analytical skills, and confidence in communication. My teaching philosophy combines structured guidance, interactive practice, creativity, and encouragement, fostering both mastery and a genuine love for language.

Lessons are designed to balance reading, writing, speaking, and listening, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and independent expression. I emphasize understanding the logic behind language rules, applying practical skills in real-world contexts, and developing confidence through repeated practice and reflection.

Beyond teaching, I read extensively, study contemporary linguistic trends, and explore literature and cultural content to bring depth and authenticity to lessons. Witnessing learners grow from hesitant speakers or writers into articulate, confident communicators is deeply fulfilling. My mission is to nurture lifelong learners who can use English effectively, creatively, and confidently across any setting.

About the lesson

I focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence construction, idiomatic usage, reading comprehension, creative writing, discussion skills, and conversational fluency. Beginners develop foundational skills, including sentence formation, basic grammar, core vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational phrases, to communicate effectively in everyday situations. Advanced students focus on critical analysis, persuasive writing, stylistic variation, professional communication, literary interpretation, and argumentation techniques.
