About Madelaine
I graduated from the University of Brighton with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) English Language and Media. I spent a summer teaching in a secondary school in Old Town, Swindon where I helped students from the ages of 12 - 18. I studied an English Language Teaching module at university and achieved a 2:1 in my practical lessons and teaching portfolio which included my lesson plans and materials.

I have taught at an A-Level and GCSE level, as well as delivering mock lessons at a degree level. My lesson structures have included an introduction to the topic, providing information on topic, an activity/group discussion and group feedback, class discussion and overall feedback. I like to make sure every student is understanding the topic, so I tend to check on their progress throughout group work.
