I am graduate, having studied English literature, in the process of applying for an MA. I’m looking to begin tutoring to both gain experience in teaching and also keep my mind focused in light of my plan to study in MA in 2020. I have a strong academic track record, having achieved first class honours upon graduating.

My teaching methodology would centre around the student, as I would attempt to understand what learning style works best for them. I would also acknowledge my students’ academic level and their goals, formulating a plan to reconcile the two. Considering this, I would still employ memory association techniques that I used during my undergraduate degree to build a solid base for my students, whilst still tailoring my plan towards them.
