About David
I am a homeschool educated student currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Humanities (Honors) at UQ. I have always loved literature, particularly diving below the surface to see how books work and how they are in conversation with each other. I know I want to spend the rest of my life reading good books and helping others understand them, which is why I started tutoring three years ago.
Some of my favorite works are The Ballad of the White Horse and The Count of Monte Cristo.
That's the fun stuff. The boring stuff is that I have a 6.5 gpa, got a 94 ATAR and have been tutoring students for 3 years.

I've tutored primary and high school students for three years. I aim to show not just how English poetry and prose works but why so that you can not only enjoy literature but write clearly, persuasively and beautifully.
My lessons are usually 1hr long and are best suited for students looking to deepen their understanding and proficiency in English beyond a basic grade level.
