About Harriet
Hello! I’m Harri and I have recently graduated with a first in History from the University of Oxford. I have been a tutor for 7 years now, which speaks to how much I truly am passionate about teaching! I am a bubbly, caring and engaged person, who has always loved learning. I try to encourage my students to always find their interests and passions within the subject they are learning about. Having studied and achieved all A*s in my Maths, History and Politics A-levels, and attended a UK grammar school, I have experience teaching students of all ages (9-18). Traditionally, I have successfully tutored for the 11+, English and Maths (up to GCSE levels) and History and Politics A-level, as well as EPQ practice. I have tutored both privately, in a tuition centre and created engaging content for tuition sites for years now, and love the work I do! Over these years, I have accumulated lots of revision, studying, essay writing, maths problem-related tips and tricks which I love to share with my students, to help their studies feel less overwhelming. I really try to inject lots of fun and enthusiasm into my lessons, as I want to encourage my students to love learning and the progress that can come with it! I love to approach my lessons with a really positive and encouraging attitude, as see tutoring as a collaborative process - how can we work together to make sure you achieve what you need with our lesson?
