About Raghu
Hello, I’m Raghu and I’m passionate about teaching English and designing.
I have a Masters in English and a Cambridge CELTA, which means I have the qualifications and skills to help you achieve your language goals.
I have over 7 years of experience as a tutor and a year’s experience as a professional teacher, so I know how to adapt my lessons to different levels, needs and interests.
I also have roughly 10 years of experience designing, and I have worked for companies like Decathlon and LEGO and received stellar praise. I can teach you how to create beautiful and functional designs using various tools and techniques.

I hold a Masters in English and a Cambridge CELTA, and I have over 7 years of experience tutoring students for various subjects including English, and one year experience as a formal teacher in a school.
I use the techniques I learnt during my Cambridge CELTA training to teach.
I prepare my own materials and choose methods for the students after gaging their ability during the introductory session (a short conversation), where I understand the type of learner they are.
Typically, I use a mixture of various methods such as a teacher driven class, and listening, reading, and speaking sessions to involve the student and get them to participate.
Depending on the introduction, I tweak these methods, adjusting weightage, making some methods (that the student enjoys) more repetitive, while retaining the others to prevent the student from settling into a comfort zone and to keep the lessons diverse and interesting. I also include assignments.
A standard lesson lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. My lessons are for all levels and ages.
