About Jade
I am a strict but kind teacher that will go above and beyond for my students. I have a Tefl certificate in teaching English online and in person. I have been tutoring since I was in high school and during my university years. The reason I decided to go into teaching, I have seen that most school teachers no longer have a passion for educating and growing students. It is all about the pay check and benefits it brings. My aim as a tutor would be to bring enjoyment while learning while actually remembering and practicing what you've learnt daily.

I am proficient in English and will be using my proficiency to teach. I believe in a realistic approach to teaching by using real life situations to encourage learning. I use a Test, Teach, Practice method where I test what you already know, teach you what you need to know or improve and practice what has been taught. I also use gestures or realia to prompt or illicit what you already know. My lesson are aimed for anyone who want to become proficient in English as a second language.
