I believe that an individualised approach, meeting the student exactly where they are and with that which they personally require, is essential in tutoring. I use a variety of techniques including shared screen, whiteboard option. The length of a lesson should not exceed 1 hr for optimal concentration. I have been tutoring online successfully for 7 years. I teach a intermediate phase age group. ie yr 3 - yr 7 of school
