About Elizabeth

Hello there! My name is Elizabeth, and I'm a medical student at Monash University. I managed to finish Year 12 with an ATAR of 99.70 which helped me to get into my dream course! I understand that VCE can be the gateway to the course and career of your dreams, which is why it is so important to me to be able to help other students thrive and achieve the results they deserve; so these dreams can also be possible for them.

My philosophy is that every student is entirely different, so I focus on tailoring my lessons in a way that makes them engaging and effective for the individual, rather than using one universal syllabus.

I would love to work with you and see how together we can help you become the best student you can be :)

About the lesson

I provide hour-long lessons to students of all levels to help them navigate complex abstract textual ideas and articulate their own thoughts in an essay format. I can help students develop their own writing voice that gives them the confidence to express themselves in a way that impresses examiners and helps maximise VCE marks.

I focus on reviewing the student's own writing and picking out areas of improvement, as well as guiding them through rewriting processes so they know what to work on outside of lessons, and can continuously improve between sessions. I can also provide some of my own essays as examples for extra help!

Having tutored English for almost 3 years, I feel confident in my ability to guide students towards success with consistent feedback and tips for improvement.
