I am an English/Ancient History teacher. Currently completing year 3 at the University of Newcastle. I have vast experience in tutoring and mentoring. Both international and domestic students at the university. In addition, I have experience with working in small groups.

I focus on making students understand concepts first. Once the student has gained an understanding of what we are dealing with, we then proceed to test that knowledge. In English, in particular, concepts may be hard to understand at first; the same is true for other subjects such as Maths. Therefore, I work predominantly with ideas, using student's own words and familiarity.
