About Lara
I am a Buddhist practitioner who travels to study with my meditation teacher, Anam Thubten Rinpoche. I spend my time taking care of animals, teaching English, and attending about 5 Buddhist study groups. I studied at Stanford, but my ideas of, "greatness," have more to do with being kind, compassionate, and loving rather than with earning credentials. As such, I appreciate your authenticity, showing up as you are, hopefully ready to learn or to tell a new friend what's interesting to you, lately. All lessons are on Zoom, Meet, FaceTime, or other online platform. I'm also available for texting and emails when you want to check in to chat.

I use AI music generation to put your corrected mistakes to music, which improves memorization and gives you a fun practice playlist to listen to. I use a conversational method to improve confidence. I tailor my lessons to the students. My friend/student Zhenya likes to translate children's stories. My friend/student Oresta talks about political memes and I support her emotionally because of the Ukraine war. I am certified to give emotional support and am interested to use AI to support life coaching and the mental health of my students. Getting to know students, I can write songs specifically for what they need, using AI and a kind heart.
