About Marlene
My name is Marlene and I am from the beautiful country of South Africa. I have always been passionate about teaching English to students and do enjoy helping people to improve their language skills. I have 15 years experience in teaching English as well as one of our native languages and completed the TEFL Advanced English course. I also enjoy interaction with people and learning more about every student. Together we can set your goals and improve your English in a comfortable and relaxing environment so you will feel empowered and happy with this learning experience.

One-on-one approach, I am patient, friendly and comfortable, with empathy and good listening skills in what you require. I am teaching English. My lessons are diverse and I tailor to each student's needs and goals. A typical lesson will be greeting, casual conversation and then start with a reading and/or writing lesson. We will also discuss pronunciation and grammar. Then we will discuss progress and feedback as well as what the next goal will be. The ideal student age should be from ages 15 to adults.
