About Jasmine

I have been a tutor with three years of teaching experience, helping students of all levels strengthen their reading, literacy, grammar, and writing skills.

I am currently a medical student, and I previously studied in London and Hong Kong, which has given me strong academic English skills and a deep understanding of learning in multilingual environments. Being fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, I understand firsthand that becoming fluent in a new language can feel challenging and overwhelming. I know the difficulties — the self-doubt, the fear of making mistakes, and the frustration when progress feels slow. My goal is to change that for you.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is creative, structured, and bilingual (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese) to ensure students fully understand concepts rather than just memorizing rules. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals.

I use:

* Clear explanations with real-life examples
* Interactive exercises and guided practice
* Step-by-step grammar breakdowns
* Reading analysis to build vocabulary and critical thinking
* Practical writing tasks with detailed feedback

Lessons are typically 1 to 2 hours.

I have 3 years of experience teaching English, working with students from diverse backgrounds and language levels. My bilingual ability helps Chinese-speaking students gain clarity and confidence more quickly.

My lessons are suitable for all levels and ages — from school students to university learners and working professionals looking to improve their English skills.
