About Diya
I am a dedicated and professional English tutor offering lessons from primary school to HSC level (Years 3–12). As an HSC graduate with Band 6 results in English Advanced and Extension with a 96 ATAR, I bring a strong academic foundation and a clear understanding of syllabus requirements, marking criteria and effective exam strategies. My teaching approach is structured, patient and student-centered. For primary and junior high school students, I focus on building essential foundational skills, including reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, vocabulary development, sentence construction and confidence in written expression. These core skills support long-term academic success and help students develop clarity and confidence in their writing. For senior and HSC students, I provide targeted support in textual analysis, essay structure, creative and discursive writing, exam technique and time management, using model responses, scaffolded practice and detailed, constructive feedback. Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s learning style, goals and ability level to ensure consistent improvement and strong results.
