About James
I am a committed and academically driven English tutor supporting students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. I focus on developing strong reading comprehension, analytical thinking and structured writing skills at every level.
For younger students, I build literacy foundations, vocabulary and confidence in written expression. For senior students, I teach clear essay structure, textual analysis, and how to integrate evidence effectively under exam conditions.
I take a professional, organized approach to every lesson, ensuring sessions are purposeful, syllabus-aligned and tailored to each student’s needs. My aim is measurable improvement, stronger communication skills, and confidence in both assessments and examinations.

My English lessons (K–12) are structured, purposeful and tailored to each student’s stage of learning. For primary students, lessons focus on literacy foundations, reading comprehension, spelling, grammar and clear sentence construction. As students progress into high school, the focus shifts toward analytical writing, essay structure, textual analysis and exam technique.
Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes and includes direct instruction, guided practice and structured feedback. Senior students receive explicit training in thesis development, paragraph structure and integrating evidence effectively. Every session is syllabus-aligned and designed to build both skill and confidence.
