My teaching method is I make sure you know the basic steps, break it down to your own understanding, then do it over it again to make sure you master each step before continuing on to the solution. What’s the point of the solution if you can’t solve the problem. There’s no fun in that. Math is like a critical thinking puzzle you must put together piece by piece before you can get the bigger full picture.
