About Romina

¡Hola! My name is Romina and I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina. I am highly reliable and professional and I love working closely with my students to help them succeed in their learning goals. I graduated with two degrees in Psychology and this knowledge and experience have proved a great advantage in my current job as a tutor. I have strong communication skills and patience and I enjoy encouraging a love of learning a second language and sharing aspects of my own culture. I have been teaching Spanish to children and adults since I moved to London 5 years ago, but I was also able to teach in several schools and language centres for several years in New York, as well as working as an interpreter and translator. I have extensive experience teaching children in different settings (primary level, after school clubs, private and small group lessons). I have also taught adults seeking to learn the language for different reasons, such as work, travel, personal challenge or to be able to communicate with a family member. I can help with exam preparation as well and I am able to adjust my method to different needs and learning styles (IB, GCSE and A-levels). I am always looking for new resources to include in my lessons and I carefully plan each one according to my students' interests and needs. Thanks to my experience teaching children, I learned the importance of having a playful approach and I try to make every lesson fun, engaging and meaningful. Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions or to check my availability. I have a flexible pricing schedule and offer a 10% discount for a package of 10 classes if booked in advance. University : - Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina) - Degree in Psychology [9.32 out of 10] - Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina) - Teaching of Psychology [9.25 out of 10]

Romina has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple Spanish concepts, as well as more advanced ones, are both truly superior. She is very creative and makes sure all the children are engaged at all times, changing the rhythm of the class through games and projects. The children adore her, they happily take care of their homework and they are always looking forward to their next class.
