About Amorie
I am a second year student at the University of Pretoria, studying a BA degree. I want to become an educational psychologist.
I have been doing au pair and tutoring work for the past two years. My experience includes working with children that have special needs such as autism and being a homeschool educator where I taught an 11 year old girl using the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum (stage 3)

In the past 2 years I have not had one student that benefitted from the same learning style as another student. Each student is so unique and I enjoy using their unique way of thinking, reasoning and even their interests, to develop a teaching method that suits that specific student best.
I am also a BIG fan of making learning fun! If you enjoy something, you learn faster and much more effectively... not only learning to remember, but learning to actually understand the content covered. I try to make each lesson as fun and interactive as possible, while still covering all the content that the student needs to know - in detail.
