About Sachin
If you're having trouble in your math or science class, I would love to help you get back on your feet. School can be way more fun when you feel you're understanding what's going on in class and you can choose to participate. Homework will no longer feel like torture because you can do it quickly and easily. Or maybe you are already doing well, and you want to improve your grade from a B+ to an A? Good for you! I can help you do that too.
Throughout my many years of school I always helped and tutored other students as I went along - my little brother, my friends, classmates, etc. - and I really enjoyed it. Now that I'm doing it officially I find it comes very naturally to me - probably because of all that experience I gained over the years of doing it more casually. I love the one-on-one interaction that tutoring provides because it's fun to uncover each student's unique hang-ups and then work with him or her to clear them up. I'm great at finding the problem areas quickly so we can spend our time effectively instead of running around in circles trying to figure out what's missing.
Helping the student stay motivated by keeping it fun and interesting is another focus of mine - often being "stumped" is just a sign of a negative mindset: "I don't get it" or "it's just too hard" are attitudes I love to chase away! I find there's usually just a little piece missing in the student's picture of the subject matter, and not that the student can't understand at all what is going on. I am very good at actively encouraging and motivating the student to push through being "stuck".
In terms of my own education, I am pursuing an engineering degree of bachelor of technology in mechanical stream from National Institute of Technology,Silchar(INDIA). I can also speak Hindi and German, so I can help you with that too if you need it.
