About Jonathan
I have played Chess for as long as I can remember and over the years have developed an extensive knowledge and appreciation for the game, both as a science and as an artform. I have an erudite understanding of Chess Theory and the history of the game, and would love the opportunity to educate other people in ways of Chess.

My teaching Methodology is based on gearing my attention to the relevant Chess needs of each individual student. Based on whatever the level of the student I intend to establish the theoritcal foundations that are recquired for advancement in what is relevantly needed for that partiucalr student. Hence I am capable of planning lessons around opening principles all the way to more advanced endgame scenarios. Above all I wish to show students both the mathetmatics and the creativity of Chess, and hope that the benefits of playing this game and enjoyment it brings instigate a passion for the game.
