About Jessica

I am a professional musician who works in theatres around the country.

I love to pass on the joy that I have for music to people through teaching. Learning music is such an important skill that translates to other areas in life. It is never too late, or too early, to start learning.

In my career I push the limits of what is possible with musical skills and I show people what can be achieved with hard work and passion.

I am caring and compassionate and take lessons at whatever pace the student desires.

I look forward to meeting you and going on this journey together!

About the lesson

Whether you are wanting to discover your love of playing music and having fun, or if you are striving to meet specific goals, I can coach you on your journey.

These lessons are low pressure, supportive and encouraging. You will get out what you put in!

I have a classical approach to teaching, meaning you will learn to read music and improve on fundamental techniques in order to grow and improve.

Lesson lengths are from 30 minutes upwards, depending on your level and needs. These can take place in person or online.

Perfect! My lessons have been great so far. Jessica is a very thoughtful and attentive instructor, guiding me through the fundamentals of technique, rhythm, positioning, sight-reading, etc. She also manages the time well so I learn a lot in a short period. Jessica is absolutely a brilliant tutor and She has a nice build up on teaching.
I'm a very beginner but she explained and showed so well that i could understand everything on the first.
I'm very pleased and looking forward to the next lesson.

After only a few weeks I have noticed a steady improvement which is the trajectory that we are all hoping for! It’s a pleasure to attend the lessons and I am only sorry that as a mature student, I didn’t find Jessica many years ago. Thoroughly recommended.
